SCW Portable Emergency Water Filtration System Contaminant Removal

The filter houses a cluster of micro-fibrous tubes like those found in medical dialysis. As water passes through the tubes harmful bacteria are trapped on the outer walls so you can be confident your water is safe to drink.

Is it really worth $99?!

What one of our happy purchasers said:

“I’m so thrilled I was able to get the Safer Cleaner Water Emergency Filtration System!

Having a filter that can save my family's life in an emergency, plus one with a lifetime guarantee? That’s beyond priceless!

The convenience of the adapter kit, which isn’t even purchasable online, was a huge plus for us. It meant we had everything we needed right there, ready to go, without having to hunt for various components from multiple stores.

The $99 price even included shipping. Every penny is well-spent. And the peace of mind I get from having this system ready to use whenever I need it? There’s no price tag on that kind of security and reassurance.

And I love it is also helping a very worthy cause.”

  • How long does it take for me to receive my Safer Cleaner Water System from the time I place my order?

    Within 7 to 14 days.

  • How long does the emergency filter last?

Since the emergency filter can be backwashed, the manufacturer gives a lifetime guarantee on that filter. It never has to be replaced.

  • How can using the emergency filter help the eco-system?

The emergency filter can purify up to 150 gallons of water per day. When you are using purified water for your drinking water it can eliminate you having to buy bottled water. This eliminates a large number of plastic bottles going into the ecosystem.

It is recommended that each person drink 64 ounces of water per day. That would be 4 16-ounce bottles of water.

For every 100 people that drink their recommended amount of water per day and drink safer cleaner water instead of bottled water it eliminates 146,000 16-oz plastic bottles going into the ecosystem per year.

(1460-16 oz bottles per person per year x 100 people = 146,000 plastic bottles)

  • How often should I backwash my emergency filter?

We recommend backwashing. This is the way to clean your filter. There is a device that comes with your system that you use to do this. It is very easy. Instructions are included in your kit. You use this when your flow rate begins to diminish, before prolonged storage, and when you are ready to start using your filter again. Backwashing your filter after storage is a great way to re-wet the filters and restore the flow rate before use.

  • How do I care for my filter during freezing weather?

The filter is safe from freezing temperatures if it has never been wetted. However, after the initial wetting, while there is no definitive way to tell if a filter has been damaged due to freezing, you should consider replacing your filter. It would be at your own expense.
